Instagram takes a lot of time to load pictures when using my home WiFi, whereas other apps (like Facebook, snapchat) work just fine. However, insta works just fine when i'm using wifi in other places. It's clearly not an issue with my phone, should be something to do with the router. Any idea why and any probable solution? It all started a couple of months back, and I don't seem to recall changing anything. Everything worked fine before that.

P.S. I have to use my mobile data to use IG, so have to disconnect WiFi everytime.

Welcome to Android Central! Try rebooting the router, by unplugging its power for 10 seconds. If that doesn't help, see if it helps to disable IPv6 in the router's settings. To disable it, you need to log into the router's settings using your desktop browser -- see the router's manual to learn how.
