my phone will let me make a call to a number but will not sent a text to that same number.

Can not send a text to my husbands phone # but i can call him and it goes through. Haven't been able to text him since 3-31-2017. He is on my account along with my daughter and i have no problem texting or calling her numberor anyone else. He can text me it will let me reply back but only if he text me first. but he does get the reply back.

He may be running a call blocker that blocks only texts. Bring both phones, yours and his, to your carrier and ask for assistance.
