I use Samsung Note 4 when I sent email I receivied a statement Sign-in Failed

Before I enter the App Password, I deleted my account thinking that thereafter, if I add an account with the same username and e-mail address I can recover and set up my old account. I had previously done it and it was okay. But previously I was not instructed to enter a random App Password.

Now, using my e-mail address and username and password I am unable to set up account - Authentication failed.

I think the problem is the App password which was not entered before I deleted the account. How then can I recover my old account without the App Password or How can I get a random App Password so that I can recover my account.
Its a bit complicating - please assist
