How do i transfer pictures and music from my internal storage to an SD card?

I recently just bought a SD card for my LG Spree but idk how to transfer apps and so on to it. And i run with Cricket

Use a file browser app.
On the SD card, make the needed folders. I called mine "music" and "pictures".
Copy, not move, the files to the SD card.
Restart the phone to flush the file buffers and kick the indexing service into action.
Using your music and picture apps, make sure the files properly copied to the SD card.
Using the file browser app, delete the old files from the internal storage.

Leave the apps on the internal storage; that is where they belong.

Check your apps that use lots of data space and see if they will let you move the data to the SD card:
Google Maps
Camera
your GPS navigation app
