Why can't I watch a temporary file I've tried everything a middle aged can

I normally video the boys rugby team
But on Sunday I lost a 10 minute video to temporary files
Can't understand why as 2 previous vids were as normal

I did panic a bit and sent it to dumpster
Then tried numerous programs
Once I retrieved it

On vlc it's says parser problem
And on other programs various
Other messages
It does show its there and the correct gig 1.3
Any help must appreciated

We need to see the exact wording of all the error messages.

If the file can be fixed, you will probably need to copy it to your computer and fix it from there.
