My 64gb Hc sd memory card not working.

Hi my Alcatel pop 4 won't accept my memory card micro SD hc 64gb it tells me it starts to format but stops at 40% and says it's corrupted, it's brand new, please help as the internal memory is a measly 8gb can only have about 4 apps and memory is full. So I need help ASAP please. Tia

Welcome to Android Central and thanks very much for the question. Sorry to hear about your problem.

The first thing I would always recommend is going to the manufactures website to see what is the maximum storage your device can take.

Alcatel says
"Internal memory 8GB + 1GB RAM End user memory (TBC) Micro SD up to 32GB"

This unfortunately means, you phone can only take a 32GB card and only support Micro SD HC cards and not XC Cards which are 64GB - 2TB
