Email client that can index large imap archive

I am looking for a email (IMAP) client for my android phone that will allow me to relatively easily search through my big message archive - it's a private server, not any provider. I have tens of thousends of messages in some IMAP folders - Thunderbird on desktop works great, I can find anything, but them it comes to search for something on my phone, then it's impossible.

Do you know any app that can solve my problem?

I am pretty sure you will not find any phone app with that ability, if for no other reason than the amount of resources it would consume on the phone.

Ideally, what you are looking for is a phone app that hands the search to the server, the server does the actual searching, the server gives a result list back to the phone app, the phone app downloads the individual emails as you select them. For this to happen, your server software and phone app would need to be relatively tightly coupled, something like Microsoft's Outlook client and Exchange server.
