Will the files of the cellphone be deleted after replacing the lcd?

[AC Question]

I got my LG g3 cellphone screen cracked. The cellphone is still working but it's hard to touch anymore because of the cracked screen. When I press harder my phone shows a message that my cp screen is damaged.

I take it a repair shop and they tell me that I need to change the LCD also because it is set when fixing. I am scared because all my files are there. If I replace the LCD although it is not damaged, will all the files be deleted ?

Welcome to Android Central! You'd need to ask the repair shop that question. Replacing the screen only should not require a factory reset. But you should tell the repair shop that if they find some issue that might require them to replace a component of the motherboard, or otherwise require them to do a factory reset, they should notify you first before they proceed with the repair.
