Can't get into my s7edge locked out and can't trun off phone to by pass

I have already hard rest my phone but I need to shut it off to do the process to over ride my pass code because I already rebooted it so it's telling me I can shut it off untill I unlock it

Welcome to Android Central! You should be able to force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 15 seconds. Be aware that after the factory reset is complete, you'll have to reenter your Google username and password before you can proceed with the Setup Wizard (which is Google's Factory Reset Protection feature).
