Vibrations problem

[AC Question]

Hi there,

My Moto G4 plus was vibrating fine when receiving texts, email, ringing etc... All of a sudden it has stopped, but if I give the phone a light shake, when dialing the phone from a landline, it starts to vibrate sometime it stop vibrating. Any ideas what is going on here?

It sounds to me like a hardware problem, with the vibrator perhaps, or one of its connections.
