Broken LCD but screen intact

[AC Question]

I got a new phone and withing the first week I dropped it, the screen is perfect but the lcd is getting worse and worse everyday as if it has cracks in it. Is that the problem or is it something else?

Sounds like it's on the way out.. You might want to replace it before it dies altogether at the most inconvenient time
! Backing up your files now would be highly recommended...
