Why does my Samsung S3 is so slow at downloading applications?

I've been downloading applications on my Samsung S3 and all it says Download pending I've waited for about 15 minutes and it still not downloading.

I tried clearing data and restarting it but it didn't work.

Please help

There are a few variables that play in the cause of slow downloads. Are you using your WiFi? If so, what's your internet speed? You can test your download speed here for free. If you are using your mobile data, who's your carrier, and what speed do you have on your plan? Your network modem and-or router can also contribute to this.
