Wireless keyboard not working with mx pro 4k box

I bought the Rii i8 wireless keyboard/mouse and i have plugged in the the usb attachment to my jailbroken android box. while the keys all work and the mousepad is responsive to my touch no problem, the issue is that i can only use the mousepad in the top left corner of the screen. there seems to be an invisible box the mouse is trapped in and i can only operate it within the invisible barriers. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
