Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551MI screen acts strange while in the dark

Within the last few days, my ZenFone 2 has been acting fairly strange. Whenever I'm in a dark room or the phone is in the dark for awhile, when I start using it again, the keyboard will flicker and sometimes not even be there. And when I open up the camera either normally or through Snapchat, the bottom half of the scream that the keyboard would take up is discolored and gets progressively brighter. This all stops happening as soon as I go into a better lit area and it only affects the keyboard and camera. I'm not exactly sure what could be causing such a weird problem to happen.
