Help! I'm locked out of my phone!

[AC Question]

I restarted my ,but I remembered that I didn't know my password. So when it rebooted, I couldn't use my fingerprint or shutdown my phone! So my only option was to guess, but it will just tell me incorrect password then lock me out for a certain amount of time!

This is happening on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935A)

Welcome to Android Central! There's not a whole lot you can do if you forgot something as important as your password. You could try using Samsung's Find My Mobile to remotely change it.
