How important is it to buy a GT19505 digitizer over the more accesable GT19500...?

So i need to replace the digitizer on my old phone to access the phone, i dont need it to function much. I.e if the digitizer works thats great. Can be hanging off the phone for all i care. My phone is a S4 GT19505, the more popular GT19500 digitizers are way easier to find and cheaper. Can i effectively plug one of these in and use it to get my old data off?
