h2o nano sim don't fit moto g5 plus tray

I can't for the love of me fit my H2O nano sim into my Moto g5 pus tray.It can't be that the card is a bit too big because it fit my other devices.Has anyone had the same problem or is it me just can't fit the card?

Is it by any chance a card cut down from a larger size? The length and breadth would be right, but it may be a little too thick, true nanoSIMs being a touch thinner than earlier cards.
