My phone does not detect cables

[AC Question]

I tried to connect my Xperia (forgot which one is because my mom sent it to me) with the cable cord I bought for it to charge since its old one has a small rip.

It didn't detect so at first I tried to change charger ports and ot didn't. So I used the old one and it didn't work. Then I used the old cable and the old port and voila it work BUT I can alsp still charge using the old cable and other charger ports.
Apparently my phone won't accept any cable other than the original. What should I do? I am wary because what if the original cord will break? I can use any ports BUT I can't use any charger cable

Inquire onLine where you can buy an Xperia original USB charger
or visit a Trusted wireless Store, where you can get a compatible
charger Kit for that PHn. Amazon or eBay must have it too
