Why does my Samsung tab 4 10.1 have green and black vertical lines.

I had the tablet bought white and the volume down and up symbols gone and the power button to then I hit the screen alot of times and it finally happened when it got fixed the tablet was data clear with and it got fixed by the DPD also it was bought on 2014 this was my main tablet.
