I have the finger print lock set up on my phone, and a pattern as my back up password. my phone still let's me swipe it open. How do I turn the swipe unlock off?

Welcome to Android Central! Check your security settings for the Automatically Lock option (i.e., then interval between the screen turning off and when the phone locks). Make sure that's set to something short.
