I do not get a notification on my visual voicemail using metro pcs

I have a ZTE Pro Max phone I get voicemails on it but I do not get an audible tone to let me know there is a voicemail. I have turned off vibration I had tried settings within visual voicemail and within my phone messaging.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you see a notification icon in the status bar when you get a voicemail? Are you certain your voicemail is set up correctly? Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings>Voicemail, and make sure the correct voicemail number is listed there.
