Galaxy S5 Completely Empty

[AC Question]

Please excuse my violent temper, but I punched the screen of my S5 when the air swipe track-skip misfired. When I tried to turn it back on a few rows of white pixel flash on screen quickly, and then the screen goes dark again. I thought this was all fine until I hooked the phone up to my computer to back up the files. When I opened the folder for my device, I found that there were no items in the whole folder. Have I corrupted my whole phone by punching the screen? Keep in mind I have no way to interact with the S5, only the computer usb port.
