How can I turn off applications and keep them off so my battery doesn't discharge so fast.

I have a Samsung Android. I tried stopping all services running. And I tried stopping or deleting all unnecessary applications, It doesn't work. In a two or three hours after taking it off the charger, all services are again running and the applications I stopped or deleted are back. The battery will discharge completely in 9 hours even in power limited mode.

Which carrier?

After your phone drains down to 20%, check the battery settings and see which apps are using the most power.
