Default Playing AAC files from ITunes

Will the Transformer Prime play AAC files that I legally purchased using ITunes? I am new to the Droid tablets and I love the Prime, but if it can not play my music files, I will have to look for another tablet.

I don't see why not. All of my Android phones have been able to play non-drm aac files, so even if you have to install a 3rd party music player, it shouldn't be a problem.

I appreciate the information. Hopefully I can play around with one when it comes out and make a final decision.

I have an iMac and all my music files are AAC, I use google music and love it. I've got my entire library (53gb) on their cloud service.

If all else fails, couldn't you burn the songs onto a CD and then use another program to convert them to MP3's?
