Now that I know that the TF201 is getting JB, I can wait. I'm still enjoying ICS.

Thanks for these ROMs Val. You are so into your Prime and getting JB. More than me I'd say, lol.

Agreed. I'll wait until it's official. Don't wanna void that warranty (or at least chance it, already had to cash in that warranty once and get the mobo replaced). But, it is nice to know that for those flashing addicts, these JB ROMs exist. Thanks again for posting these Val!!

I'm not actually rooted. I trust Asus to deliver a timely update. My old phone (warranty long since expired) has become my hacktoy. My new phone and tablet are stock (for now)

Agreed. They need to teach a lesson to Moto for me.

Yup, that's what my plan is. Keep em stock while there is a warranty. Although, to be honest, I talked to a guy at a Verizon store once and he said if you manage to cover your tracks, they'd probably never know that you rooted. But, not worth the gamble IMO.

This was posted at XDA by Gary, the ASUS rep there:

    Hi,

Jelly Bean is in beta testing and/or qualification approval on the various Transformer Pad models. So expect to see it start popping up in the near future. I do not have an exact release schedule for all the units except to say it passed qualification testing on one unit already so expect to see it shortly. Hopefully the roll out schedule will continue at an expedited pace on the other Pads. I will update the schedule as soon as I have further information.

    Sincerely,
    Gary

Looks like the TF300T update is already rolling so we should be seeing the update on the Prime soon!
    I choose Android...it's only logical.

That's great, although I wish there had been more specifics in that post.

Also, if it's beta, how do I sign up for that?

I have a relative with the 300 so I'm trying to think up a reason to head over there and play with it

Edit: posting some screenshots. Looks like Asus added some goodies (but these are actually good goodies that improve the user experience). The date and time are a bit funky (did they even have touch screens in 1999?) But the tf300 is much smoother and all in all, jelly bean is awesome. Here's a look at Asus's improvements. (credit to them, I thought the only organization that could improve on stock was cyanogenmod. Here's to Asus! The first manufacturer to provide timely updates, not mess with the android ui, and actually add useful features that don't drain battery while still providing frequent updates.
Yeah, I'd definitely sign up to beta test!

Out of everything that's out for the Prime, as far as JB goes, which is generally considered the best? I had heard good things about JellyBro on the Galaxy Nexus, so I flashed the Prime version on my tablet, and it seems like some of the features are a little wonky, and there's a very annoying keyboard lag/ detection issue.
