I just got a firmware update. Running it now.

You can select no to show the warning about the default keyboard when docked.

There is an icon for Tegra Games and another for Google videos that you can rent.

I do not know the previous versions but this is what I have now. Anyone could see what has changed?

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It looks like there have been changes in:

WiFi version 1.42 vs. 1.50
Kernel version ...00001-gf377a2b vs. ...00011-g3eb19ec
Build Number ...8.4.4.5-20110527 vs. 8.4.4.11-20110711

I just downloaded and installed it, too.

Also, it appears the boot logo has changed. There is now a powered by Nvidia logo on the bottom. And a spinning circle instead of the Asus color fades.

Anybody know if we have to unroot to do this update?

I am assuming yes, as I got the download, rebooted then ended with the android exclamation.

I find it to be faster and it made that New Android Market APK that came out a few days ago look complete like the phone version did

I agree, seems faster. My net connection is acting up, so I'm not sure, but the browser lag seems better, also... [crosses fingers and holds breath]. Can anyone else confirm? Or is it only my wishful thinking?

Are you all able to see Movies from the Market App? The only way i can see them is via going into the Videos app, then clicking "Shop" at the top... which opens a browser.

My speaker balance is much improved after the update (the left speaker had been much too quiet previously).

Yes you need to unroot. Wait a few days and there will probably be a rooted version.
There's actually one rooted rom base on the new update at xda
