Unable to Hard Reset and Reboot

Asus eee Transformer starting rebooting yesterday and after a couple of hours it was no longer able to boot. Attempted Hard Reset success. Appears to have been unable to locate RCK files and/or to delete data. Have tried both attempts.

So you booted by holding in the power button and the down volume at the same time? I wonder if it really needs to do a factory reset to clear whatever corruption has happened.
