Re: Difference between X-1 and A-1 ?
TF-101 is the asus code. X-1 and A-1 are just different purchasing deals available to the retailer. It also gives the reatilers not participating some protection in that they can avoid price matching like code numers. The hadware is exactly the same.

Re: Difference between X-1 and A-1 ?
It's just another scummy business practice designed to benefit them and screw us. The hardware is the same. Retailers do this all the time, especially around black friday. Two retail chains will have the same TV for example with different model numbers unique to their chain. that way they can refuse price matches by saying they're not the same model.

Normally the A1 mean its a 16gb model and the B1 is the 32gb model.
Now the X1 is just a BB thing.
Found this on Asus Q&A
Difference between TF101-A1 and TF101-X1?
Just like it says in the subject, I'm wondering if somebody could enlighten me as to the differences between this model, and the model which will supposedly be available soon which is marketed as a Best Buy exclusive. Are there features missing from the X1?Posted by: Asus_Answers
ANSWER 1 There are no differences in specifications between the two models.
