Screen stops responding periodically

I recently bought a refurbished Asus Transformer from walmart. I've had many issues with the screen not responding for 15-30 seconds at a time, and then randomly starts working again. I'm not trying to use multiple applications or anything. This happens while surfing the web, scrolling through menu screens, using apps, you name it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I've already done a factory reset and the problem still persists.

I personally would take it back. Refurbished "anything" from walmart is a no go for me.
