Calendar timezone problem
When I create an event it correctly sets the time in the correct timezone, however, if I edit the event (after it is synced) it defaults to GMT and throws all my date and times out of whack. Even if I select my local timezone (Pacific) again, it has already changed the date and time to GMT, so everything is offset by 8 hours. This is really annoying!
Is there any way to get events to default to the local timezone all the time?
I have already tried checking the "Use home timezone" option in the settings and it doesn't make any difference. - 06-16-2012, 01:36 PM

Re: Calendar timezone problem
Okay, so I figured out that the sync was the problem. The Gmail accounts were set to GMT by default and since I never used the calendar functions (before I got this tablet) I didn't know it was a problem. So when I started to use the new tablet I couldn't get the dates right after sync. The frustrating thing was that since the Gmail and Calendar programs are integrated I couldn't access the date settings on the Gmail account without using another computer.
