Hmm. Is it rooted or anything like that? Because if it is I doubt you can update.

No it is not rooted and I have also tried to go through the asus website and manually update but could not get it to work. Any help would be appreciated

Try wiping data for Google Services Framework then reboot and try checking for an update.

"Not working" is pretty vague. Exactly what happens when you attempt a system update?Quote:

I tried wiping the data and then running the system firmware update but is still saying no update available. I am running build version htj85b.us_epad-8.6.5.7-20110730. When I go tomaually download the update from the asus website do I need to start from the oldest and work my way newer?

I think the latest firmware is 9.2.1.27
If you want stock experience but with all the Asus bugs fixed and some common features added I suggest running Revolver ROM.
