Default Timr to get a Transformer or wait?

I already have a Nook Color and its not a bad tablet especially for what it costs. That being said the Transformer is really calling to me. It really offers a great value for the money and the keyboard dock los great. I can afford the cost of the Transformer but part of me thinks I might be better of waiting and saving my gadget money until next year when the power of tablets may have actually cught up with PCs. The Nook lackey does what I need for a tablet except for being to small screen size. If you were in my situation what would you do?
    Enjoy every day.

If I had a Nook, I'd wait. Android tablets will start coming out in droves later this year and you'll have a much wider selection to choose from, including getting a Transformer (Which you might actually be able to find) if none other offers what you want. I doubt quad core tablets will start showing up until next year which is when things will really start to get interesting.

First of all, a tablet will never catch up with PCs from a performance point of view, or even full blown notebooks. To make a device in the tablet form factor with the power of a full blown PC would be astronomically expensive. And most tablet users, who only surf the net and send e-mail on the tablet, don't want or care about that kind of power.

If the Nook does everything you want then why change? One thing is certain in electronics; the longer you wait the better/faster/smaller/cheaper they will become.

The transform looks good, but not a nook replacement. Too big, I actually love the size of the nook.

After using the Ipad and nook a lot, the size makes a huge difference.
