    Default Losing wifi after idle

Whenever my TF goes idle for an extended time, i lose wifi usage. It still shows it's connected but there is no internet. The only way to get it back is to either go to airplane mode or disconnect and reconect. It happens on all three networks i've tried.

    Any way to fix this?

I have the same problem. Can't figure out why its happening or how to fix it. Maybe its just a bug.

I saw this today. The wifi is back to normal after shutting it down and restarting. My policy was set to *never*. Is this new for 3.1? I did not see this in 3.0.1.

Never was already checked when I went into wifi settings. I'll try to shutdown.

    Edit:

Nope, still same problem after restart.

The problem with that is it takes up more battery. I haven't seen it happen yet in 3.1. but i haven't had a lot of time with it yet.

wifi always hangs after extended idle for me unless set on "never". battery life is shortened. If concerned about battery life, you just have to go into settings and disconnect and then reconnect - a bit cumbersome but only takes a few seconds. I put on "never" and simply recharge more often - usually by connecting to the dock.
