How to update to 4.4 on ASUS MeMO pad 10 me102a

I have an Asus MeMO pad 10 me102a tablet and android 4.2 and want to upgrade to 4.3 or 4.4. How do I update?

Welcome to Android Central! If there is no official system update available from ASUS, then you'll need to root the device and search the web for a custom 4.4 ROM designed for that device.

Has anyone found any Roms for the me102a?
I'm struggling to find any and am sick of an almost unusable tablet!

You should be able to update by going to Settings>About>System Update.

I have the same tablet, and mine is also "almost unusable." Still, I'm hesitant to update because it could make things worse - - and I have a lot of important information on this tablet. If you do update, I'd be very interested in knowing the outcome. (Especially if the "screen jitter" was cured. On Youtube there are several complaints about that, so it's likely you suffer from it also.)

If you do try an update, please let us know how successful it was. And l'll pass the word to the others.
