Default making "wallpaper" for memopad hd7

Sorry if it was mentioned before. Did not find the correct
    answer so far.
I'd like to change wallpaper and set own built jpg picture.
Since I have the device 3 days, I cannot say where those
files are stored and what size I should make. My intention
is to use "convert -size 1600x1280 -background #mycolor"
to have it ready. When I got the jpg, where to put it for hd7
    to see the file?
I know the device resolution is 800x1280, but it takes more
than one screen and wallpapers I found on the net are of
1600x1280. I will post more info if needed.
    Best regards all.

I'm pretty sure the wallpaper should be sized to 1280x800. When you have a wallpaper created just save it on the device (it shouldn't matter) then open a file manager and navigate to image. Long press the image and you should be able to set it as a wallpaper. Let us know if you have further questions.

I made it 1600x1280, using remote linux server and imagemagick "convert -size 1600x1280 xc:"#mycolor" background.jpg.
With that I'm more satisfied than with those defaults.
For the rest, it was as you said.
    Best regards.

In a matter of fact, you might.
I feel pretty strange in no command line environment. The best plan I see is
to install qpython and do the job myself. I already installed terminal emulator.
What other apps are available? Like mutt, irssi, rawdog.
I also see perl on code server. Any experience with that?
    Best regards all.
