Re: 4.2 time!
I just powered mine on, turned on wi-fi and saw an update prompt. So I hit install, not knowing what it is. I'm wondering if it's 4.2! As it's installing I see this post, then read the article. Awesome! My TF300 is currently doing the "optimizing app..." part. I'm anxious to see how 4.2 looks on this tablet! I'll report back!

Re: 4.2 time!
I don't care for the new launcher. I went back to the old one. Other than that I like the having the same features as on my Nexus 4. I haven't tested everything out yet.

can't wait to get home from work and try this out. Might be worth losing root access for a short time.

Re: 4.2 time!
I did not find Photosphere, the Recent Apps screen is done with a bit more animation, and the stock web browser automatically dims when loading a page to save battery. Neat!

Re: 4.2 time!
One thing I noticed.. The lock screen clock doesn't have that horrible bolded hour that the nexus devices have. Good for you, Asus!

Re: 4.2 time!
Updated ASUS task manager... You can now lock apps to keep them running.

Multi user...
Reminder, developer setting are hidden now. To access them, go to settings, about tablet, then tap the build number until you are a developer...
First bug report... The on screen Android keyboard has a mind of its own...it sometimes enters random characters...

Re: 4.2 time!
All right, found a bug.
When trying to add the ASUS Task Manager widget to the 4.2 launcher, it keeps force closing the whole launcher.

Re: 4.2 time!
Also, if you have the keyboard dock, you can no longer enter your PIN code to unlock your tablet with it. Which isn't a bad thing, but I really did like the convienence.
