No Android update coming?

It looks like Asus is abandoning the TF300T to let it die off quietly. I was hoping they'd update to at least 4.3, but I guess not. That's a shame. It's a nice tablet, and really could use an update to speed it up. Anyone hear anything along these lines?

Well, I would say no there is no more update going to be rolled out for, so I don't think that you are going to hear the magic words i.e. the update being rolled out again. Any way I would say have you tried checking out the custom ROMs. I am sure you can find cyanogenmod ROM available for you. It can help you in having a taste of the Jellybean or who knows you can also have taste of KitKat I would say try checking it out.

I have OMNI-ROM on mine. Kitkat 4.4.2.

(Says 4.3 in the screen shot, but the ROM is definitely 4.4.2...and I installed mine months ago, so it might be higher than that now). Very close to stock. In fact looks 100% stock except for some extra options.
