Default Why get higher than 16gb?

Why get higher than 16 gb if it has a micro sd card reader? Can't I just get the 16 and buy a 32 gb micro sd for cheap? Or is there only certain things i can store on the sd card or something like that?

Correct. Only certain software can be stored on board. In these days I would stick with 32gb minimum

either way, the wifi only version is supposed to only be released in 32 and 64 gb variants, its the 3/4g versions that are suposed to have 16 gb options.

There's a new phone that will run Crysis on Ultra at 120 fps on a 2160p display that's coming out 3 months after you buy your next phone.
