This forum seems very inactive...
This forum seems very inactive for a device that's about to come out. I mean...I'm the last post on almost every post lol.
There's a new phone that will run Crysis on Ultra at 120 fps on a 2160p display that's coming out 3 months after you buy your next phone. - 07-16-2012, 12:53 AM #2

You're not the only one who's noticed. I'm pretty silent here (think this actually my first post) but I'm surprised there isnt more enthusiasm. This is one of the first high DPI Android tablets, that alone should warrant interest.

I think the Nexus may have temporarily stole the Infinty's thunder. I'm sure it will pickup once a few people get it in their hands.

I noticed that as well. Not just here, but the site too. You would think there would be something on the front page about arguably the greatest Android tablet's release.
Does anyone know of where you can physically pick one up? I'd like to buy one asap without having to wait for it to ship. I see Office Depot has them on their website but I don't see a "check in-store availability" anywhere, maybe I'll just call after work. I don't see them on Best Buy's website, are they even going to carry it? Otherwise, anyone know of any other non-online retailers selling them? - 07-16-2012, 11:42 AM #6
Re: This forum seems very inactive...
My local Best Buy told me that they are expecting them in within the next 2 weeks... additionally, I called today (Figuring that maybe I just got an ***** yesterday that didn't know what he was talking about) and he said that they are not in stock... I asked him to check some of the local stores in the area and he said that, they too were not stocked..
So I oreded mine from Tiger Direct... and I guess I'll just have to wait. I much rather wait a few days than not get one at all... JMO - 07-16-2012, 12:01 PM #7

I guess I missed the boat somehow, I checked newegg Saturday am, Saturday night, Sunday am, Sunday night, and this am for availability and it says out of stock and gives the option for auto notify every time. Guess I just have to wait some more.

Re: This forum seems very inactive...
I just ordered mine on the phone this morning from Best Buy. The lady said it should be delivered here on Thursday.

Amazon is still showing some in stock, albeit from other retailers. You have to search for "asus tf700t" on amazon to find it. You'd think searching for "asus transformer infinity" or "asus infinity" would bring it up, but no. When you do find one, look a the "More Buying Choices" section on the right, you should see Amazon as an option, and they'll have it for the MSRP. Now, when I ordered it said there was a 3 to 4 week wait, but within a few hours of placing the order it changed. I ordered on the 16th, the order was updated and shipped on the 17th and I should be getting it on the 19th. Not sure if that will still be the case, but there you go. Best of luck.
