I am about to order the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T. I have been debating as to which capacity of storage to get - 32GB or 64GB. This may be a no brainer for most but money is sort of an issue with me. I wondering what benefits beyond the obvious I would get for getting the 64GB version over the 32GB and adding a micro 32GB SD card. Is it really worth spending $100 more to get the 64GB version? Or should I just buy the 32GB SD card for about $35 buck and save $65. Either way, most likely I will buy an SD sooner or later.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks,

gabato

100 is a rip off for 32 gigs of storage. I say go with the 32 and get a 32 gig card. I found one on amazon for 17.

I think 32GB would be plenty. I have the TF101 in 16GB and was constantly deleted apps to make room for new ones as some of these games are gigantic. I was looking forward to getting a 32GB TF700 knowing I would use the space and would have room for more but when the time came, I opted for the 64GB. Why? No idea but at least I know I never have to worry about deleting a thing! HAHAHA But in general, I think the 32GB should be more than enough and other than on-device storage, 64GB version affords you nothing more over the 32GB version. use the $100 you save to grab a dock or to keep in the bank.

With the thoughts and insights in the replies, I ordered the tablet. Unfortunately, I will have to wait a while to get it. Amazon has it back ordered.

Thanks for your replies.
