So I was trying to use skype and noticed that the video would not work for me. It would not let me receive video or send it. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue. Thank you for your input.

I'll be honest, even though I've wanted to, I've still not tried Skype, gtalk, or g+ hangouts to test out.
(other things been keeping me busy lately)

Yeah, I didn't have a need for it until my computers webcam gave out. However, now that it isn't working though I'm pretty upset. That's why I wanted to figure out whether or not it works for the infinity. The Voice works though.

I'll try later tonight after work. I'll try the 3 I have, skype, gtalk, and tango and report back later.

ok, so I can confirm I was able to do a video chat between the 700 and my htc thunderbolt on both Tango and on Skype, but not on Gtalk (a voice call did work though).

The 700 has the latest firmware of .26

The Tango version is = 2.1.27247

And the Skype version is = 2.8.0.920

Skype seemed to be better video quality than tango on the 700 screen (as does on my tbolt screen). I also alternated between front and rear cameras on both 700 and my phone and they swapped successfully.

Oh okay, Thank you for the response. I have played around with this as well, I haven't tried tango, but the gtalk video(im assuming its the talk app provided by google) worked for me while the skype did not work. Which is the exact opposite lol.

Crazy hehe!
My guess gtalk didn't work for me due to my phone, if I gtalk from my phone to my wife's phone it doesn't work.

haha yeah, I guess it depends on the caller as well. This is good to know though!
