Text notification waking phone?

Anyone know how to disable it?? Every time I'm biking and receive a text, the phone wakes and all hell breaks loose in my pocket. I don't want any notification waking the phone and I'm going crazy trying to find how to disable it!

Try - open the app Mobile Manager, then tap Notifications. Look for an app named Messaging and disable it. It'll prompt a confirmation and then preferably select block all. You need not worry because you could change this back to your previous setting at any time by following the same procedure.

Thanks for your help but I have Messaging blocked but I'm using Textra. Should I block Textra?!?!
