asus Zenwatch sms reply Verizon message +

Used to be my zenwatch would let me reply to texts using the Verizon msg+ app, then it stopped working.
I read that the reply worked using Google message, so I tried it out. Sure enough, I can reply to texts from google msg using the zenwatch.
Problem is, the Google message app SUCKS compared to VM+. ... no sync with other devices, buggy (says it didn't send when it did, for one), etc
So....is there a way to get the Verizon Message + to reply using voice from the zenwatch?

On their Google Play description, I notice it says that Android Wear support is only for their beta app...

Are you using the beta app? You may need to until this feature gets rolled into the final build... Or, use a different app like Hangouts, Google Messenger, etc. that does fully support Android Wear.

Mine works fine.. Message + on Verizon with my ZenWatch. Can reply no problem including voice reply to text. Used to have coffee app for replies but message + replies got better so I
Dropped coffee app.

Gentlemen, thank you for the tips.
I went to the playstore and found that Verizon messages plus needed an update.

After the update it works great.
