OEM Battery Cover/Door
I've been looking online all over the place trying to find an OEM Battery Cover/Door for the Atrix and I can't seem to find one
. There's doors/covers available for every other android phone, even the G2 and Mytouch 4G which use metal ones.
Anyone have any idea when OEM doors generally become available? - 03-29-2011, 12:39 AM

When I read the Amazon description, it seems to indicate there is an insert to allow the rugged cover to work on docks. That would be great. I'm seriously looking at this rubber OEM cover.

Re: OEM Battery Cover/Door
I got mine from cnn.cn (in Hong Kong - mentioned above). It took about two weeks get it (Massachusetts) - I also opted for the cheapo shipping. It does indeed fit the car dock (with the insert removed). It offers a much better grip than the original smooth battery cover, but it seems less "protective" than the TPU case that I bought right after getting the phone last month. Overall, I am pleased with it, as I don't have to be taking a case on and off every time I want to put the phone in the car dock.

Re: OEM Battery Cover/Door
I've also got the rubberized batter door. Got it from cnn as well. I've had for a week now and like it alot. The cons of it are it will "grab" your pockets when you insert it into your pocket. By the usb and hdmi ports the cover is very thin and flimsy. Its much easier to hold in your hand though. The oem one is very slippery.
