This is more of a post to get everyone's preferences pertaining to updating GingerBlur versions...

I am sitting on GingerBlur 3.1 now, and wanted to update to 3.5. My question is, do you typically flash back to 1.83, do any OTA updates necessary, then flash to the new gingerblur version? Or have you been typically just flashing the new gingerblur version over your old one?

Nope, just flash over 3.1. Easy peasy.

Seems simple enough. I just didn't know if there were any benefits to flashing to stock, then updating gingerblur. Wasn't sure if it would be clearner either.

It's not a real ROM... it's more a theme or a mod. Not much is going to change in /system or /data.

So I'm assuming you are in the camp of just apply 3.5 over 3.1 with no need to flash back to 1.83?
