Default Should gingerbreak take an hour?

Im running gingerbreak on my atrix with .83 I hit the root choice in gingerbreak. It started working, so I set it down to do its thing. After a while the screen turned off but the green LED is still on meaning its working. Its been an hour, should I stop it, or should I let it keep going?

Gingerbreak is very fast. Set usb debug, connect phone to pc, run gingerbreak exe on pc, gingerbreak app will appear on phone, run app on vb phone.

Question: Would an anti-virus program keep GingerBreak from working?

I always recommend temporarily disabling anti virus during any rooting process. Anti virus could attempt to block exploits, ports and other means used to root your device thinking its intruding on your system.
