Somehow I believe I corrupted the internal memory of my Nook Color.
I need to know all the different ways to repair this, including ADB methods.
I've tried so many different things already but Im not ready to give up yet. If, on the other hand, I do need to give up on it, what's the cheapest way to replace it? My 1yr warranty expires next month (November).
Right now, the only thing it does when turned on, is show "Read Forever", then black screen. I called B&N to see if I could return it but they want me to take it to Best Buy to have them look at it, then call B&N from there.
Talk to me guys...

How exactly did this happen? What were you doing and what rom was/is on it.

At the time, CM7.
Supposedly, Stock B&N is on it now, but no idea if it was actually took since it goes to a black screen after the Read Forever screen.
The last thing I remember doing on it; I was in Nook Tweaks app, I think I checked a setting regarding boot thinking it was referring to something else, hit a few random websites online, then shut it down for the night.
Turned it on the next morning & the rest is history...

I would say start all over wiping everything and flashing a new ROM and gaaps from a bootable SD card.

I've wiped emmc, system, data, & cache.
Flashed CWR.
Installed cm-encore-zip
Installed gapps zip
Removed SD
Reboot

It reboots-
Shows green, rectangular Cyanogen(mod) logo
Goes back to CWR main menu screen

What's next?

I had same.
My steps tu fix it:
Format ALLL system, data, boot from CWR.
Create CWR boot SD
Flash repartition-boot-with-stock.zip from this post
(can`t insert link now :( ) try to google for: [RECOVERY][ZIP] Nook Color Restore to stock.
Nook Color Restore to stock on xda-developers forum

After that I have "clean" Nook
Gues you install CWR into internal memory, you can try to remove it and try 8 reboot to return to factory reset.
BTW CM nightly after 221 have a problem with DSP manager - "force close". cm_encore_full-221.zip - works fine for me.
