want to root my nook color

im looking to "jailbreak" root my nook. but im not sure were to start. i have alot of book on my sd card. if i back them up and use that card to root my nook i can just format it and use it for books again right ? also if i have apps downloaded on my nook how will i get them on this "cfw" ? i want to play minecraft pocket edition and i heard i can if i do this

When I was rooting the first time, I had followed the following guide.

First thing is to decide what you want ROM you want to use.

Then the absolute easiest way is go to youtube and search for "root nook color with ......" you will find a multitude of easy to follow, step by step instructions.

If I were you, I would just go out an buy a 2gig sd card to use for the root.
