Will it charge like the regular nook charger or will it be very slow

In my experience with tablets, only the manufacture one's charge the best. I have found leaving charging while using can damage the lead if not to careful. Can over-charge as well and need to re-start device, as device stops charging sometimes.
The leads/charger are a lot cheaper, hopefully more will give there feedback as well.

I have an aftermarket charger for the Nook and it is very slow. It works but is slow. The OEM charger for the Nook is fast and I recommend you get that.
