Nookie Froyo on SD or Internal Flash?

I plan on picking up a nook color tonight. Which route is the best in rooting it?

Unfortunately the root ROM's aren't very stable. Just take a look at the 2 Nooks dead thread. Not to mention that if you want to take it in for warranty service, you can easily remove the SD card and be in a normal state.

I'm running nookie on SD and it's working o.k. There are some issues. Can't access SDcard partition of SD card on PC. Youtube app to work. No DSP support. runs a little slower due to microsd card speeds.

You can view mp4 videos if you follow the maximum resolution and bitrate guidelines.

I run Nookie on internal with the overclock and it runs great, very fast and Flash works. I use Button Savior instead of soft keys and you have full use of the SD card. I think it is well worth it as opposed to Honeycomb. Honeycomb is just too slow on SD to be worth it.
